Power supplies such as those manufactured by Ferrus power Ltd do not fall into any of the specified 10 categories and are therefore not within the scope of application of the RoHS and WEEE directives. Our power supplies, however, are suitable for installation in products that are subject to the scope of application of the directives. RoHS statement It is our intent to pro-actively meet the needs of our customers and conform as early as possible to the RoHS Directive. In order to achieve conformance we have addressed the Directive in two main ways, these being the removal of lead from our soldering processes and the use of RoHS compliant material & components. All RoHS compliant products will be marked in accordance with the requirements of the RoHS directive. Consequently we have no direct responsibility with regards setting collection and recovery targets or offering a take back service. The financing of the safe and responsible disposal of these products rests with the end Equipment Producer. We will support both customers and treatment facilities by providing information as to the presence or otherwise of the materials and substances referenced in Annex II of the WEEE Directive.
